Sift Biosciences CEO Clare Lou Selected for the 2025 ACS BrightEdge Entrepreneurs (BEE) Program

SAN CARLOS, CA — Sift Biosciences is proud to announce that Dr. Yue Clare Lou, Co-Founder and CEO of Sift Biosciences, has been selected for the 2025 cohort of the ACS BrightEdge Entrepreneurs (BEE) Program. Run by ACS BrightEdge, the innovation and impact investment arm of the American Cancer Society, the BEE Program is the first cancer-focused, geography-agnostic, early-stage venture accelerator designed to train and equip first-time founders building companies that advance cancer research toward patients.

“It’s an honor to be selected for the ACS BrightEdge BEE Program,” said Dr. Lou. “Building a company focused on the next generation of cancer immunotherapies requires not just great science, but a network of mentors, operators, and fellow founders who have done it before. I’m grateful to ACS BrightEdge for the opportunity to learn alongside this cohort as we advance the SIFT™ platform toward patients.”

The BEE Program provides selected entrepreneurs with access to training, expert mentorship, resources, and capital to accelerate the path from research discovery to commercial impact — bridging the proof-of-concept and start-up formation stages where cancer innovation often stalls.
