SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Sift Biosciences is proud to announce that it has been named the winner of the 2024 Eisai Innovation, Inc. and MBC BioLabs Golden Ticket Competition. The award provides Sift with one year of complimentary laboratory space at MBC BioLabs’ state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, enabling the team to accelerate drug discovery and innovation for the future benefit of patients worldwide.
Entries to the competition came from a broad range of disease areas and represented a number of innovative technologies. Sift Biosciences was selected for its AI-, metagenomics-, and high-throughput screening-driven approach to developing safer and more effective immune-activating molecules from billions of microbial genes.
“We are honored to be selected as this year’s Golden Ticket winner by Eisai Innovation and MBC BioLabs,” said Dr. Yue Clare Lou, Co-Founder and CEO of Sift Biosciences. “Access to MBC BioLabs’ world-class facilities will allow us to rapidly advance our platform and move our lead programs closer to patients. We’re grateful for the support of two organizations that have helped define what early-stage biotech can look like in the Bay Area.”
